journal entry: saying goodbye to CK

Today I had to have a cat put to sleep. He was a drop off at my grandma’s and we had had him for quite a few years. He was irritating, stubborn, icky, and so full of personality that you couldn’t help but like him in spite of it all. He was also very old and FIV positive.
Yesterday he showed signs that it was time and today I made the appointment. At a little after 3:00, he died. I am very sad.
I’m really sorry to hear about your kitty. :( It is so hard to lose a loved one.
