jar in the woods
New things today: I journaled about food, tiredness, the day, and about driving and my tendency to yell at other drivers. Also, I had a photo scavenger hunt with Mikale today. I added those photos to a flickr set. Our list included:
- a smooth round stone
- a cut up bush
- something green
- leaves
- grass
- bark
- a cat
- a bug (I didn’t get one!)
- a feather
- birds
- 2 twigs
- a sign
- something metal
- a pine cone (I got several of these, perhaps that makes up for the bug)
- a wrapper (got one, didn’t use it)
- a snake (definitely didn’t see one. I’m thinking they aren’t really out and about yet)
The rest of the photos I took that weren’t part of the hunt are uploaded too. I have a nice shot of KittyKitty peeking out from under the steps. He’s scared of Mikale I think. Scared of me too after all the tail trauma. Poor KittyKitty! I have a shot of some buds on a tree. It’s nice to be reminded that spring might actually get here after all! I’m ready, Spring, come get me! I will bake you cookies and give you hugs! [side note again, I just read about rounding numbers on wikipedia. It's far more complicated than I remember it. Thank you wikipedia and thank you Vincent!]
Another couple photos I took were of the pen we made for the baby skunks I had briefly in 2004. They were so cute. Baby things do tend to be cute though. And I really wanted to keep a baby skunk. It was not to be. Here is a cute baby skunk video I took though. Never knew they would play with cat toys!
Also, I just added a new Salmon Bot chat to the entry on my chat log journal.
